Get started with AnuCal
AnuCal shows your whole year on one screen. You don't need to fill it in. A few dates that shape your year are enough to start.
1. Add your first event
Click any day on the calendar. To cover several days, drag across them instead. A panel opens on the right.

- Type a title.
- Choose a category. The category sets the event's color.
- Click Create Event.
You can also click Add at the top right to start an event without picking a day first.
Good first events are trips, birthdays, deadlines, exams and holidays.
2. Choose what kind of date it is
At the top of the panel, choose one of these:
- Single Day: one date.
- Multi-Day: a start and an end date.
- Sometime: a month with no exact day yet.
3. Make your categories yours
Your calendar starts with one category, General. Rename it or add your own, such as Work or Family. See Create and color-code categories.
4. Mark a day with a stamp
A stamp shows a single-day event as an emoji, which makes the day easy to spot across the year.
- Click a day and keep Single Day selected.
- Turn on Stamp.
- Pick an emoji. The title is optional.
5. Bring in your Google Calendar
If you already keep dates in Google Calendar, you can show them on your year. See Show Google Calendar events in AnuCal.
